Fangqing Zhao is a Professor at the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and Director of the National Key Laboratory. He has received the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) Excellent Young Scholars (2017), the NSFC Distinguished Young Scholars (2020), the NSFC Innovative Research Group Project (Class A, 2025), and the XPLORER PRIZE from the New Cornerstone Science Foundation (2025). He currently serves as the Director of the Genomic Informatics Committee of the Chinese Society of Bioinformatics, the Deputy Director of the Microbiome Committee of the Chinese Society of Microbiology, the Deputy Director of the Computational Biology and Bioinformatics Committee of the Chinese Society for Bioengineering, and an Associate Editor or Editorial Board Member for journals including Briefings in Bioinformatics, Science Bulletin, Science China Life Sciences, and Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics.
 Dr. Zhao’s research focuses on developing cutting-edge data- and intelligence-driven omics technologies to investigate the structural composition and dynamics of gut microbiomes and non-coding RNAs, and to elucidate their roles in human health. In recent years, he has published over 100 papers as a corresponding author in journals such as Cell, Nature Biotechnology, Nature Methods, Nature Genetics, Nature Cell Biology, Nature Microbiology, Nature Computational Science, and Nature Reviews Bioengineering. He has received the "Outstanding Mentor Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences" seven times, the "Lingyan Award of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences" three times, the "Li Pei Teacher Dedication Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences", and the "Zhu Liyuehua Outstanding Teacher Award of the Chinese Academy of Sciences".

赵方庆，中国科学院动物研究所研究员、全国重点实验室主任。先后获得优青（2017）、杰青（2020）、创新群体A类（2025）、科学探索奖（2025）。现任中国生物信息学会基因组信息学专委会主任、中国微生物学会微生物组专委会副主任、中国生物工程学会计算生物学与生物信息学专委会副主任、Briefings in Bioinformatics、Science Bulletin、Science China Life Sciences、Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics等期刊副主编或编委。主要致力于建立数据与智能驱动的前沿组学技术，探索肠道微生物与非编码RNA的结构组成与动态规律，以及阐明它们与人体健康的关系。近年来，在Cell、Nature Biotechnology、Nature Methods、Nature Genetics、Nature Cell Biology、Nature Microbiology、Nature Computational Science和Nature Reviews Bioengineering等刊物上发表通讯作者论文100余篇。先后7次获得“中国科学院优秀导师奖”、3次获得“中国科学院大学领雁奖章”、 “中国科学院李佩教师奉献奖”和“中国科学院朱李月华优秀教师奖”等。
